The UNIQLO Tree Lighting Celebration, held on November 30 at the East B Parking Lot, 9th Avenue cor. 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, was a big customer holiday party. The event was a great start to the holiday season, with the lighting of the huge UNIQLO Holiday tree, treats from UNIQLO’s holiday partners, and memorable live performances by Jose Marie Chan and Ben&Ben.
A live choir from the Quezon City Performing Arts Development Foundation Inc. sang Christmas songs to a crowd of UNIQLO customers, community partners, and influential people.
Geraldine Sia, Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO Philippines, then joined the parties to talk about the holidays and remind everyone to find joy in the little things in life. Georgette Jalasco, Vice President of Marketing at UNIQLO, talked about how important it is to be environmentally friendly and involved in the community. Customers can help UNIQLO’s global clothing drive by donating their used LifeWear clothes at any UNIQLO shop in the country. After that, these things are given to people who need them.
After Sia and Jalasco, Ikezoe Osamu, the COO of UNIQLO, and special artists Jose Mari Chan and Ben&Ben came out on stage to help light up the UNIQLO Holiday Tree. It showed pictures of UNIQLO customers taken at the Holiday Nook and posted online or at the company’s flagship store in Glorietta 5.
Special performances were given by Jose Mari Chan and Ben & Ben while the UNIQLO holiday tree was lit up and guests’ smiles were mirrored in it. The two groups worked together to play the new UNIQLO Christmas Jingle live.
At the party, UNIQLO Holiday Partners also brought a range of eco-friendly products and tasty treats that everyone loved. Partners included Mary Grace, Da Gianni On Wheels, Michelle’s Puto Ube, Grow PH, Mang Felix Taho, and Mang Alex Fishball. Filipino Christmas foods like bibingka, puto bungbong, and hot chocolate could be found at Lisa’s, and fruit cake and other goods could be bought at Bukas Palad.
